New Site Updates

Finally got finished with the latest updates to the Radio Javan Store, which we’ve now launched with digital music videos as well as physical DVDs and CDs. So the music videos that we have are high resolution, high quality — they are made for your iPod but can also be shown on TV or other high res screens. They don’t have our RJ-watermark, and they don’t have any promos in the audio clip either. Some of the real good ones include the Andy concert videos, which you cannot find anywhere yet, even Youtube.

For the music CDs, yeah, we realize no one buys CDs anymore and just gets mp3s. But we wanted to have an option for those who like to get the original album with the cover and inserts for their collections. So, what happens is that if you buy a music CD, you can download all the mp3s immediately and you’ll have the CD shipped to your door as well. I don’t think even a site like Amazon does this.

I’ve also overhauled the event page, to make it easier to search and find events. Nothing too fancy to talk about there except that you can also buy tickets for local concert events, so check it out. We’ll keep improving the event section over time.

We’ve also redone the music video page to give it a new “wider” look — I personally really love that carousel widget for related videos.
